In this pricing guide, we’ll explain Rocketlane’s pricing model, paid plans, and Enterprise pricing to help you make an informed decision.

➡️ At the end of this article, we’ll introduce you to an alternative to Rocketlane for customer success and implementation teams that operate on HubSpot.

Rocketlane Pricing Plans Overview

Rocketlane's tiered pricing structure is based on user seats and the features you’d need. All plans include unlimited projects and customers to onboard.

  • Essential: $19/month/seat when billed annually, which gives you access to a branded customer portal, actionable emails, all task views (e.g., Kanban), and timesheets.
  • Standard: $49/month/seat when billed annually, which adds project and portfolio management features, the tool’s templates, and calendar integration.
  • Premium: $69/month/seat when billed annually, which adds custom automations, resource management features, and financial management features.
  • Enterprise: $99/month/seat when billed annually, which adds unlimited custom automations, more resource management features, and enterprise-grade security.

➡️ Rocketlane may not have a free plan but the Essential and Standard plans come with a 14-day free trial, which can be extended to 21 days if your brand cannot use the platform much in the first 14 days.

rocketlane pricing tiers

Let’s go through each one of Rocketlane’s pricing tiers in more detail: 👇

Rocketlane’s Essential Plan

Rocketlane’ Essential plan starts at $19/month/seat when billed annually for a minimum of 5 team members, which is ideal for small service teams looking to kickstart their operations.

Rocketlane’s Essential plan includes:

  • Access to unlimited projects and customer members.
  • A branded customer portal where you can manage onboarding and then ongoing projects with your clients.
  • Customer approvals and collaboration.
  • Built-in CSAT at milestones to monitor client sentiment and satisfaction.
  • Access to all task views, including Gantt, List, and Kanban boards.
  • Time tracking features and timesheets.
  • Custom automations for up to 50 runs per user per month.
  • Task and document collaboration with a mobile app.

➡️ At this plan, the only integration is with Zapier.

Drawback - The UI Is Reportedly Not That Easy To Use For Clients

A verified G2 customer claims that the customer-facing interfacing is lacking in ease of use and that it may create bottlenecks in operations.

‘’The features and set-up can be a bit manual at times which makes onboarding this tool move slower than I would like. I wish some of the features were more intuitive and more UI-focused. Customer-facing interfacing is lacking in ease of use and can create bottlenecks. The support team is overseas and creates a less than seamless experience in terms of trying to resolve issues quickly. Our renewal experience felt rushed and we had very little engagement from our CSM leading up to it.’’ - G2 Review.

Rocketlane’s Standard Plan

Rocketlane’s Standard plan costs $49/month/seat when billed annually for a minimum of 5 users and adds more integrations, security features, and templates.

The Standard plan includes everything in Essential, plus:

  • More project and portfolio management features, such as SmartFill and sprint planning.
  • Project update and dynamic templates.
  • Calendar integration for timesheets for better time capture, reporting and management.
  • Access to more custom automations per month – 200 runs/month/seat.
  • Access to people and project performance reports.
  • Integrations with Jira, HubSpot, and Slack.
  • Custom domains and access to the tool’s API.

Drawback - Some Teams Did Not Experience A Smooth Onboarding Experience

Some of Rocketlane’s customers have noted on G2 that their onboarding and set-up experience of the platform has not been very smooth.

The users claim that their onboarding process was overly complex and was not tailored to meet their needs.

‘’The onboarding experience with Rocketlane has been overly complex and not tailored to meet our needs. We have to repeat ourselves on nearly every call. Content is repeated frequently and I've come to expect sessions to always go over in time. We opted for a train-the-trainer approach to train our own team internally because we knew we could provide a better experience for them.’’ - G2 Review.

Rocketlane’s Premium Plan

Rocketlane’s Premium plan costs $69/month/seat for a minimum of 5 users when billed annually and adds more resource and financial management features as well as access to more automations.

The Premium plan includes everything in Standard, plus:

  • Time-off management functionality for when your team members are on holiday.
  • Access to more custom automations – 500 runs/seat/month.
  • Project budgeted hours alerts.
  • Resource management features, such as Resource AI,  resource planning, auto-allocation, and capacity management.
  • Financial management features, such as project budgeting and tracking.
  • Reporting and dashboards, such as project profitability reports, interval IQ reports, and operational insights reports.
  • Integrations with Salesforce and Workato.

Drawback - CRM Integrations Could Be Better

A verified Rocketlane user on G2 expressed their concern about the tool’s Salesforce integration.

The user claims that the CRM integration lacks complexity, as they are unable to sync data to a record that is different from the record that creates a project.

Rocketlane's Salesforce integration lacks some complexity that I would like. I am unable to sync data to a record that is different from the record that creates a project. This means I can't update an Account field based on a project unless I use the Account record to generate the project. This can be overcome through a couple of methods, though, so it certainly shouldn't be a deal breaker but it would be nice if there was more flexibility in how projects are created through the sync and how you can integrate project data back to Salesforce. - G2 Review.

Rocketlane’s Enterprise Plan

Rocketlane’s Enterprise plan costs $99/month/seat when billed annually, which adds unlimited automations, and enterprise-grade security features – making it ideal for large organizations.

Rocketlane’s Enterprise plan includes everything in Premium, plus:

  • Unlimited custom automations and forms automations.
  • Custom reports and dashboards.
  • Soft allocations, tentative planning and access to the tool’s skills matrix.
  • Integration with Snowflake.
  • Security features, such as SAML and role-based access controls.

➡️ Rocketlane has not disclosed the minimum number of team members required to access their Enterprise plan.

Drawback - Implementation & Onboarding Are Charged Extra

As our team was reviewing the platform’s pricing page, we saw that implementation and onboarding assistance are charged extra based on the scope and onboarding services required.

How Is Arrows Pricing Different From Rocketlane’s Pricing

Arrows has three pricing tiers:

  • Growth plan: $500/month, which gives you access to unlimited plan participants, bi-directional data sync to HubSpot deals or tickets, and HubSpot timeline events.
  • Business plan: $1,250/month, which adds access to advanced Arrows data points (50+), dynamic branching on tasks, and the ability to sync Arrows plans to custom objects in HubSpot.
  • Enterprise plan: Custom pricing that adds access to SSO, Audit logs, and automated user lifecycle management.

💡 Also, your team will be able to access CSM-guided onboarding and team training sessions in both Business and Enterprise plans.
