Introducing the Task Library: Quickly Add Tasks to Onboarding Plans

Save your most-used tasks and phases in a library, then add them to any customer's onboarding plan in seconds. No more recreating tasks from scratch–just pick what you need from your library and keep moving.

Whether you're adding tasks during customer calls or building out new templates, every minute saved adds up to a better experience for both you and your customers. 

The Task Library transforms this process by allowing you to save, organize, and instantly reuse your most common tasks and phases. 

Here's how it improves your day-to-day workflow in Arrows:

1. Add Tasks or Phases From Your Pre-saved Library

Your templates likely already contain most of the tasks that are relevant to your onboarding process, but we all encounter situations where we need to quickly add individual tasks or phases to a customer's plan. Now you can do this instantly:

  • Add pre-saved tasks with all settings intact
  • Pull in complete task descriptions automatically
  • Configure assignees and due dates in one click
  • Skip the manual editing process entirely

For example, if you need to add a review call to a customer's plan, simply find the pre-saved version in your library, click add, and it's done – complete with all settings and descriptions

2. Flexibility to Customize Plans

The Task Library makes it easier than ever to customize plans for different customers:

  • Quickly add entire phases of tasks for specific use cases
  • Insert additional tasks on the fly during customer calls
  • Maintain consistency while providing personalized experiences

Building Your Task Library

Getting started with your Task Library is straightforward:

1. Create Your Library

  • Navigate to the Tasks Library section in your Arrows account
  • Click "Create new library"
  • Add a name and description
  • Click "Create library"

2. Add Content to Your Library 

You can add content in two ways:

  • Directly in the library: Add individual phases and tasks from scratch
  • From existing content: Use the menu of any phase or task in your templates or plans to save it to your library

3. Organize Your Content

  • Choose which phase to add tasks to
  • Create new phases as needed
  • Review and confirm your additions
  • Change status from Draft to Active when ready to use

4. Start Using Your Library 

Once your library is active, you can:

  • Add tasks or phases while editing templates
  • Insert content into live customer plans
  • Access your library content from any plan or template

  1. Start building your Task Library by saving commonly used tasks
  2. Organize tasks into different libraries based on your needs
