A Deal Gameplan is only useful if the dates on it are right. If a follow-up waiting on you is scheduled two days out, you won’t see it until it’s late. If a buyer’s new request gets folded into a step about something else, it’s easy to miss.
This week we made the gameplan better at both.
Work waiting on you is scheduled for today
When Arrows prepares work it expects you to act on, like an email for you to review and send, it now schedules that work for today.
Before, some of that work landed a couple of days out, even when it was ready now. Now if it’s ready and waiting on you, it shows up in today’s work, where you’ll see it.
New requests get their own step
Deals don’t follow a script. A buyer emails with a question in the middle of the week, and it doesn’t fit neatly into the step you already have planned.
Arrows used to fold that new work into an existing step. Now it adds a new step instead, so each piece of work has its own clear goal and date.
What this looks like on a deal
Say you have a meeting with a buyer in two days. The gameplan has a step to prepare for it.
Then the buyer emails asking for a case study before the meeting.
- Before: Arrows folded the reply into the meeting prep step. The email to the buyer sat inside a step about something else, where it was easy to miss.
- Now: Arrows adds a new step, “Reply with the case study,” scheduled for today. The draft is inside it, ready for your review. You send it today, and the buyer has it well before the meeting.
More accurate around meetings
Arrows now knows each meeting’s time zone and end time, not just when it starts. That means it can plan around your meetings more precisely. Work that depends on a meeting, like a recap for a call that ends at 4pm, is scheduled for after the call is over, and meetings across time zones land on the right day.
Steps also show the time zone next to the scheduled time, so there’s no guessing whether that’s your time or the buyer’s.
Getting started
There’s nothing to change. Your gameplans already work this way. If you want to shape how Arrows plans, update your Agentic Playbook: the gameplan follows it.
