The best deal notes never make it into the CRM

After a call, a rep knows more than any transcript caught. Writing it all down is the chore that slips. Ramble lets them say it the way they would tell their manager, and Arrows does the typing.

  • Not everything is on the recording

The chat in the hallway after the demo. The call you could not record. The text from your champion. A notetaker only knows what it heard.

  • Your read on the deal lives in your head

You are holding firm on price. You think finance is the real buyer. Nobody said that on the call, so no summary has it.

  • Typing it up is the step that gets skipped

Fields in the CRM, a task, the follow-up, a note to self. After back-to-back calls it waits until Friday. Saying it takes a minute.

One ramble, every update it implies

You don’t pick the field, the step or the tool. Say what happened. Arrows works out what changes on the deal and gets each piece ready for you.

You said

What Arrows did

“Push the close date to December 5th.”

HubSpot update

“Al from IT signs off on SSO, so get him the security doc before Thursday.”

Gameplan

“She wants all four locations, not just Denver.”

Email draft

“Don’t offer a discount, I’m holding on price.”

Memories

Talk when you can. Type when you can’t.

Ramble lives in the bar at the bottom of every deal. Tap it and talk, or open the chat and type. Either way, Arrows does the same work.

  • Tap the bar and talk

Every deal has the bar at the bottom. Tap it, say your piece the way you would tell your manager, then send.

  • Or type it, or paste it

On a train or in a meeting room, open the chat and type. Paste notes from anywhere and Arrows keeps them on the deal in your words.

  • Talk to the draft

Not quite right? Press Ask for a change on any draft and say what to fix. The draft stays in view while you talk.

Say it once. Every draft after it knows.

Some of what you say isn’t a task. It’s how you want the deal run. Arrows keeps those lines on the deal, and the work it does later follows them.

  • Short lines you can read

Each one is a single line in plain words, kept on the deal it belongs to.

  • Used on every next step

Follow-ups, gameplan changes and CRM updates all read them, so you never repeat yourself.

  • Yours to change

Edit or delete a line any time. Say something new and Arrows updates it.

“Majority of the sales doesn’t happen on the demo. It happens after the demo. The opportunity I saw was how do I make sure that I’m in control and my team is in control of the narrative that’s happening when we’re not there.”

Questions reps ask

What is Ramble in Arrows?

Ramble is how reps tell Arrows about a deal in their own words. Talk or type into the bar at the bottom of any deal, and Arrows turns it into CRM updates, follow-ups, gameplan changes and notes on the deal.

Do I have to talk, or can I type?

Either. Tap the bar to talk, or open the chat and type. Voice is there for the moments when typing is the slow part.

Does anything change in my CRM or go to a buyer without me?

Only if you set it to. CRM updates and emails arrive ready for you to review, and every tool can be set to Allow, Ask first or Off.

What does Arrows do with what I say?

It works out what changes on the deal: a CRM field, a new gameplan step, a reworked follow-up. Standing instructions, like holding firm on price, stay on the deal so later work follows them. Longer notes you paste in are saved in your words.

Do I need to say it a certain way?

No. Talk the way you would to your manager after the call. You don’t need to name fields or tools. Arrows already has the deal’s calls, emails and CRM record, so a loose sentence is enough.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Open Arrows in your phone’s browser and ramble on the walk out of the meeting. It works the same way as on your laptop.
